My approach for this event was to move quietly and observe. Orchestral performances have a rhythm of their own, and the photography needs to reflect that. The moments between movements, the connection between conductor and orchestra, the expressions from the choir — they’re all part of the story.
Town Hall is one of the most beautiful venues to photograph in, with the warmth of the space and the architectural detail helping to shape the tone of the images. As always, the goal was to capture the scale of the performance while still paying attention to the human moments that make it real.
