I’ve been a commercial photographer in Christchurch for more than 15 years and have covered hundreds of events across New Zealand. From conferences and awards nights to AGMs, staff functions, and brand activations, I’m trusted by organisations to capture honest, expressive imagery without disrupting the flow of the day. A Steady Presence in Fast-Paced Environments
Events move quickly, and my approach is simple: stay calm, stay aware, and tell the story as it unfolds. Whether I’m photographing keynote speakers, team-building sessions, candid moments, or formal presentations, I work quietly and professionally so people feel comfortable and the event can run naturally. I’ve worked with government departments, national brands, corporates, and community groups.
My background in science, IT, design, mental health support, and community work helps me read a room, anticipate moments, and adapt to whatever an event demands. My featured work showcases some key events that I’ve been part of.
Experience Beyond the Camera
I hold a degree and Honours in Biochemistry, and in 2022 completed a photography degree with academic excellence. Away from events, I spend time outdoors with my dog Kodi or in the sauna — the same calm and intentional mindset I bring to every assignment. Alongside commercial work, I continue a personal film-based art practice that shapes the stillness and presence in my photography.
