A vibrant mix of interiors, furniture, food, and renovation ideas at Wolfbrook Arena, captured through natural, observational event photography across a busy weekend.
The Canterbury Home Show at Wolfbrook Arena brought together a wide mix of interiors, furniture, homewares, food, and renovation inspiration across a busy weekend. More than 150 exhibitors created visually engaging spaces — from styled living environments and design-led displays to food vendors and interactive stands — giving visitors plenty to explore. It was a buzzing event spanning 3 huge days.
I captured the event as it moved between high-energy crowd moments and slower, more considered interactions within individual spaces. I feel that I showcased the human element of this colourful event.
Photographing the show involved balancing rhythms. Wide frames captured the scale and flow of the event, while closer observations focused on texture, detail, and people interactions — engagement with products, conversations at stands, and the atmosphere created by well-designed spaces.
Food vendors added another layer to the event, bringing movement, smell, colour, and a social energy that complemented the interiors and lifestyle vendors. The resulting image set reflects both the visual appeal of the exhibitors and the lived experience of the event — commercially useful for organisers, vendors, and future event promotion across multiple platforms.
