An innovative research group gathered at the University of Canterbury for a focused one-day event exploring new approaches to reducing carbon dioxide. During the event, I captured individual headshots for the initiative’s public profile.
The workshop event brought together researchers and collaborators committed to developing practical solutions around carbon dioxide reduction. Alongside the day’s discussions and strategy sessions, there was an opportunity to create consistent, professional headshots for the group’s external communications.
Working on-site meant keeping the setup efficient and unobtrusive while maintaining a clean, cohesive look across the portraits. The subjects viewed their photos on a laptop and picked their choice- an easy admin free solution for the participants and event organiser Olivia.
The goal was to reflect both the individuality of each participant and the collective strength of the initiative — thoughtful, credible, and forward-looking.
